How to use tom357mag's
Image Size & Repeat Thingy with Grid maker

Input boxes

IMAGE:
You may type or cut and paste the url of the image you wish to study.

Image H and W:
Control the size of the image.
These do not affect the image as background.

BG color:
This is used to make any background color on the image and grid functions. If your graphic has a transparent background, BG color will show through.

You may use hexidecimal codes or color names of 6 letters or less, i.e. black, indigo, aqua.

Repeats:
You must use positive whole numbers for both repeat inputs ('course, you can try otherwise).

Horizontal repeats is the number of cells that appear in each row of the output page. The image will appear in each cell.

If you select a number that will make your output page wider than your screen setting, an alert will tell you how wide your request will be and how wide your screen is.

Vertical repeats is how many rows your output table will contain.

Grid size and color:
Used to 'print' an image on graph paper. Enter any size and color you wish. Size "1" will give you a solid color (the grid lines are 1 pixel wide). Some browsers will show a left margin of sorts. Some browsers may have a few fuzzy vertical lines on the left. Default is grid over image. The first check box will put the image on the grid. The second check box will hide the image for printing plain graph paper.

Output functions.

Display Image(s):
Builds a table that is centered and contains your image repeated horizontally and vertically.

Image as Background:
Displays full page with image as background. BG color will show through graphics with transparent bakgrounds.

Grid on Image:
Displays a grid superimposed on the image. The top of the image will align with the line immediately below the top of your screen. If the first check box is checked, the image will be 'in front' of the grid. If the second check box is checked, you will see a plain grid. It will be approximately the width of your screen setting and will print 8.5 X 11 inch page if your printer setting is set to width of screen.
